Mrs. Warr

Education: I studied Educational Psychology and English at the University of Georgia. Currently, I am working on my degrees in Organizational Leadership and Instructional Design at Columbia Southern and Early Childhood Education at Liberty.

Years in Education: I taught American Sign Language and Applied Behavior Analysis at the Joseph Sams School for four years. For the next 13 years, I was an instructor for emergency telecommunicators and other public safety personnel. This is my first year at Grace.

Why I became a teacher: Teaching is a ministry that allows me to be a tool for God in a very special way. I get to help children know Jesus and to share His love and truth with the world. There are few professions that let me serve others while drawing out the very best in them.

Favorite teacher: Mrs. Rook was my kindergarten teacher and is a dear friend to this day. She genuinely loves others and never missed an opportunity to demonstrate Christ before her students.

Family: I have a six year-old daughter, Audrey, and a goldfish whose name changes daily.

Favorite Scripture: 1 Corinthians 2:2 (KJV)
For I determined not to know anything among you, save Jesus Christ and Him crucified.
In all my studying and teaching, this one truth trumps all.

Favorite Things: I would rather travel than have almost anything, but I like chocolate, books, coffee, the Oxford comma, and sleeping in late.

Birthday: December 1st
